From the M62
From M62 junction 32 take the A639 towards Pontefract. After the first set of traffic lights get into the right hand lane and proceed into Pontefract. Continue up the hill passing Harratts garage on the right hand side to the end of the road. At the traffic lights you will be facing a Chinese restaurant, turn right heading towards Featherstone / Wakefield (this is the A645). About ½ a mile along this road, as you approach the top of an incline, the Barracks is on your right hand side.
From the A1 South
From South A1/Doncaster take the A639 towards Pontefract. When approaching the town centre stay in the left hand lane. There will be a Chinese restaurant on your right hand side when you reach the traffic lights. At the lights turn left heading towards Featherstone / Wakefield (this is the A645). About ½ a mile along this road as you approach the top of an incline the Barracks is on your right hand side.
From Wakefield
From Wakefield take the A645 towards Pontefract. On leaving Featherstone and approaching Pontefract (after approx. 10 miles) you will pass a Crematorium on the left hand side of the road. Several hundred yards further on the Barracks will come into sight on the left.
Parking
On arriving in the car park the visitors’ parking spaces are directly outside the main entrance doors.
